About Desirae Gavidia, LMT
About Desirae Gavidia, LMT
Born and raised Floridian, Desirae saw her passion with massage work early on when she used massage as a form of therapy after an injury. She experienced all the benefits of massage and saw the tranquil, relaxing and healing world it was involved with. She started studying at the Alpha Institute of the Treasure Coast in Florida and received her diploma and state license in 2009. With over 15 years of experience as a licensed massage therapist, Desirae brings a wealth of training and passion to every session. Her career has taken her from luxury resorts and destination spas in Florida and the Caribbean to private practices, healing arts centers and wellness retreats. Along the way, she has gained certifications in hot stone therapy, medical massage, pregnancy massage, sports massage, reflexology and more allowing her to adapt each treatment to her clients’ unique needs.
Also in the last 5 years, Desirae has shown another passion for being out on the water. She studied at Chapman School of Seamanship, learned to sail in her hometown, gained more experience on multiple different boats and yachts and found her niche working as a sailing catamaran mate/chef on all-inclusive sailing charters and a sole stewardess on motor yachts in Key West, The Bahamas, Caribbean and northeast coast of the U.S.
She is also currently enrolled full time at the College of the Florida Keys in their A.S. Culinary Management program. Desirae plans to put all her talents, skills and knowledge together to create all inclusive sailing wellness retreats in the near future!
Desirae’s massage studio offers a peaceful, coastal-inspired space where your well-being comes first. She combines the best of both worlds: deeply relaxing spa-inspired bodywork and targeted therapeutic techniques such as trigger point and pressure therapy. Whether you’re seeking relief from pain, support during pregnancy, or a tranquil escape, her personalized sessions restore balance, release tension, and leave you feeling renewed.
